After Hours With
We invite you to join us for an “after hours” beer event with Brewery Bhavana on Wednesday, October 3rd, from 8:30 – 10:00 p.m. This event is limited to forty attendees.
You know that BottleMixx normally closes at 8:00 pm, but for this event, we are staying after hours to enjoy these beers in a more structured and educational tasting environment.
We’ll be pouring five fabulous beers in a single flight format (one beer at a time) as staff members from Brewery Bhavana present stories about the brewery and discuss the profiles of each beer we taste – here’s the lineup:
Sprout Fig Dubbel
Pulp India Pale Ale
Grove Double India Pale Ale
Limited Release Selection
(Please note that beer selection is subject to change should availability change)
Price: $35 per person + tax
Price includes five 5oz pours, light snacks, cheeses and an entry ticket to win a basket of Brewery Bhavana gear!
Reserve your seat by coming in or calling BottleMixx at 919-615-1703. A credit card will be charged at the time of the reservation to confirm you spot. Sorry, NO refunds after 10/1/18.
The doors open at 8:15 p.m. and the first pour begins promptly at 8:30. The tasting bar will remain open with last call at 10:15 p.m. and you are welcome to shop and purchase cans, bottles and growler fills of available product.
We look forward to you joining us!
Piglette Noir Dark Table Beer (4.2%)
Don’t let the color fool you; this ultra light ale is as bright and tart as its sister-beer, our Piglette Grisette. Carafa malt and a little rye lend a roasted finish and deep black hue to this otherwise light-bodied, Belgian-style table beer. Blended with our house dark sour culture, it’s perfect for long, late summer.
Sprout, Sneaky Fig Dubbel (7.6%)
Fig puree gives this refreshing dubbel a tricky, sweet aroma and amber hue that belie its clean, dry finish. Oats in the mash help build its silken body and distinguish it from traditional dubbels.
Pulp, Galaxy Double IPA (7.0%)
Grove, Sunny, Citrusy Double IPA (8%)
A double IPA in which strength is expressed through delicacy. Brewed with a profusion of hops, Grove will take you on a long walk through a citrus orchard, dripping with clementine, grapefruit, and peaches. Its restrained upfront bitterness, like pith and peel, opens to reveal its juicy, tropical flavors: thirst quenching and surprisingly round
