We want to extend a big congratulations to BotteMixx’s own Chris Nadeau for taking 1st place in this year’s Tales From The Cask home brew competition.
Chris took 1st place with his “Trips Up North Black IPA” a beer that “marries the roastiness of a stout with a hop profile of a New England style IPA.”
The competition was judged by Chip Mims, Jennifer Balik and Tony Walldroff of Mim’s Distributing Company, the hosts and producers of Tales From The Cask, along with Aubrey Herbert of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and Jake Taylor of Ballast Point Brewing Co.
If you listen to the Tales From The Cask Podcast, it’s quite clear that Chris' brew was a unanimous choice for 1st place as it was at “the top of everybody’s judging sheet...across the board winner.” And to lend credibility to the judges assessment, Jennifer, Tony, Aubrey and Jake are all Certified Cicerones!

If all goes as planned, you can grab a pint of the winner brew on October 21st at BottleMixx’s 5 year anniversary celebration.
Congratulation Chris – we are proud of you!
